Focus:

  • Understand the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the new mother and how to integrate these needs into a well structured post natal class
  • Learn the fundamental anatomy & physiology of the post natal mother
  • Practice planning and teaching a post natal yoga class with adherence to the welfare and safety of the new mother
  • Learn how to plan and run a Mums n Bubs class with adherence to the welfare and safety of the new mother and baby
  • Learn the foundations of infant massage to include in your Mums n Bubs class

As a Graduate you will:

  • receive a Certificate of Completion with CPD points (this can also count towards the International 150 hour Pre & Post Natal Certificate
  • be highly sought after to run specialist Mums n Bubs and/or Post Natal Yoga Classes
  • be acknowledged and respected around the World as having completed a professional, thorough teacher training workshop in this speciality
  • be able to structure and deliver a Post Natal or Mums n Bubs class for new mothers with strict adherence to the welfare and safety of the new mother and baby
  • receive ongoing guidance, support and mentoring from the IYTA Pre and Post Natal Faculty

Structure of the Workshop:

  • 15 hours - 2 day workshop 
  • 3 hours – Online lectures 
  • 8 hours - Self-study workbooks to include reading, practice, preparation to optimise the weekend workshop 
  •  2 hour - Open book written assessment

Katie is a senior yoga teacher (IYTA), massage therapist (ITEC), certified infant massage instructor (IMA), doula (Optimum Birth), Reiki practitioner, author and mum-of-three. Katie has been teaching general yoga classes, pre-natal yoga, post-natal yoga, baby yoga and infant massage for nearly two decades to thousands of women across Australia.
